Our trip started off pretty typical. Got the van all packed up with our luggage and snacks and all that good stuff. Got on the road around 9:30 to start the trip. I was wondering what kind of weird things we would see on our trip. The first was the photo below. These have to be the biggest tires I have ever seen. My little duck jaw hit the floor. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of vehicle they went on. We ended up taking a break at the same truck stop and I asked the driver. Apparently some guy is setting a ghetto world record and has a Caprice Classic jacked up awaiting these bad boys. I couldn't believe it. What's even crazier is that the rims were spinners.
We gassed up and then it was time to get back on the road.
After that the rest of the day was spent reading, sleeping, and watching movies on the computer. Not exactly an exciting start to the trip, but hey, not everyday can be full of awesometasticness.
